Best Ski Toys for Kids
We’ve found so many fun ski-themed toys out there, that there’s a little something for everyone. I turned to the experts for research on this article, my own kids ages 5-15, and they shared with me what ski toys were cool, which ones were lame, and the ones that they’d only play with once. The toys for skiing we’re sharing below are only the best of the best (because they came up with TONS of ideas…and requests for toys they wanted).

Best Backyard Toy Skis For Kids
These toy skis are perfect for the backyard or for taking to the park. Most of them can even stand up to a light trail ski if you’ve got groomed trails near you. They don’t have metal edges, so they’re safer for kids to play with on their own, but that also means that they’re not suitable for the ski resort.
SOLA Beginner Skis For Kids
We love all the fun designs that these kids’ skis come in and the easy-to-buckle bindings. These would be perfect for kids from 2-5 years old. They do come with poles (though they’re not great quality), so kids will love having those to play around with as well.
TEAM MAGNUS Play Skis For Kids
These short skis would be perfect for the kid who is always wanting to take their skis down every sledding hill they see. They’re a simplified version of the old-school snowblades from the 90s, that can just strap onto boots or shoes. They work with boots or shoes up to an adult size 10, so the whole family can have fun with them.
NOTE: They’re not super stable going downhill, so we recommend wearing a helmet.

Skull Canyon Ski Fest Board Game
This strategy ski board game will quickly draw you in and make you want to play over and over again. You’ll have fun riding the lefts, controlling the slopes, and of course, spending some time relaxing! It’s recommended for ages 14+, but with a little help, we think younger kids could play and enjoy this as well. The best part is that it can be played with 2-4 players so the whole family can join in on the fun!
We Ski for Nintendo Wii
We have this game and the kids absolutely LOVE IT. It’s a fun ski-themed game that gets kids moving on the balance board and having fun as they race down the slopes. This is the perfect ski video game because it lets kids feel like they got game time, but they’re still being a little bit active.
