Deer Valley Ski-in Ski-out Options
Deer Valley is an upscale skier-only resort that’s packed full of ski-in ski-out lodging for families. Here you’ll find the main base area out of Park City and the Jordanelle side. The Park City accessed areas are significantly better than the Jordanelle side, so look there. This includes the Empire Canyon area, Silver Lake lodge, and lots of ski-in and ski-out cabins and homes scattered throughout the area.

Park City Mountain Resort Ski-In Ski-Out Options
Park City Mountain has two main base areas, Park City Mountain Resort, and The Canyons. Park City Mountain Resort is within walking distance of downtown Park City, whereas The Canyons is more secluded with it’s own base area a couple of miles outside of town.
For regular hotels, the Park City base area is easier to get around and much more family-friendly than The Canyons. If you’re looking for Park City ski-in ski-out houses and cabins (check out this one or this luxury chalet), look toward The Canyons and anything off of the Daybreak lift or Dreamcatcher lift will literally blow your mind. Our family lives 20 minutes outside of Park City and if we want a spot in the parking lot, we know we have to leave by 7am on the weekends.

Marriott’s MountainSide
This family-friendly Park City hotel is located right at the base of Park City, so you literally can strap your skis on after you leave the hotel area. It has one of the best pool areas in all of Park City and the entire family will go crazy for their HUGE HOT TUB setup, complete with multiple pools and waterfalls! This is where my kids want to spend all their time in the evenings, and I don’t blame them ONE BIT!
There are 358 guest rooms, including one and two-bedroom villas, at this hotel. The guest room and one-bedroom villa can sleep four people, while the two-bedroom villa sleeps eight individuals. We go here regularly with extended family and never feel crowded – it’s amazing. These rooms feature free WiFi, plush bedding, an elegant room design, well equipped kitchen, and a lovely fireplace. We love that there’s a big dining table in the rooms to play games at and eat a big family dinner AND that there is an awesome set of in-resort activities for the whole family (the game room and movie nights are a major hit with our kids every time).
